Kalene, RECE is a full-time Educator and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Ambassador at St. John’s. She graduated from Conestoga College in 2014 with honours and began as an Educator with us in 2016.
Kalene has a passion for creating genuine connections with children and guiding them to develop into their unique selves and the whole humans they are.
Outdoor education, connecting with nature, risky play and freedom of expression are cornerstones of Kalene’s practice. She believes ALL children should have the right to genuine love and connection as a foundation for their development.
Kalene is the recipient of the ECE Faculty Recognition Award for outstanding contributions to the ECE practice
