Early Learning Programs St. John’s Nursery School Offers:
- Half day morning Toddler: 18 months -30 months
- 1 Timeslot available: 9:00-12:00
- Half day morning Preschool: 30 months -5 years
- 2 Timeslots available: 9:00-12:00 or 9:00-12:30
- 6hr Preschool program: 30 months – 5 years
- 2 Timeslots available: 9:00-3:00 or 9:30-3:30 (Fridays 9:00-12:30)
** We have no programs on Friday afternoons, as this is time for educators to learn, plan and document **
All our programs for the 2025-2026 school year are currently FULL, please add your child to our waitlist on the Regional OneList.

St John’s Christian Nursery School provides a stimulating and environment with engaging materials, designed to meet the needs of each individual child.
Our compassionate educators follow “How Does Learning Happen Pedagogy” Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years.

Our 6 hour program has 3 timeslots available 9:00-3:00 or 9:30-3:30 with 2 snacks and a catered lunch.
DRESS FOR WEATHER!
Here at St. John’s we plan to play outside every day, and we play outside in all kinds of weather. Educators will inspect the playground and decide based on weather and the play value of our outdoor space.
It is important to bring your child dressed for the weather everyday. If we can’t get outside at the beginning of the day, we might go out at the end of the day.
“There are no bad weather days, just not proper clothing!”
St. John’s has a Muddy Buddy rental program. Families can opt in to rent a Muddy Buddy from us. Children will then have an extra layer of protection to stay in the rain, snow or mud
HELP SUPPORT US
We are a not-for-profit organization. To support our program, we coordinate fundraising campaigns and accept donations from families, alumni and community members. Tax receipts will be issued.
